OSU Medical Center provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services and programs through its five award-winning hospitals and network of physician offices and specialty clinics. OSU Medical Center consists of the following hospitals and services:
University Hospital, a 923 bed hospital, specializes in more than a dozen programs including organ transplant, rehabilitation, neurosciences and women's health. It houses the highest-level Trauma Center and Level III neonatal intensive care unit in the area.
- University Hospital East blends academic and community-based medicine in this 404 bed hospital on Columbus' East side, with centers of excellence in orthopedics, family medicine, emergency services, addiction services and wound care.
- The OSU James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute is a 160 bed hospital and research institute dedicated entirely to cancer care and treatment. It's one of the only 38 National Cancer Institute designated comprehensive cancer centers in the U.S.
- The new OSU Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital houses 90 inpatient beds and 10 outpatient beds in central Ohio's most advanced new hospital dedicated exclusively to diseases of the heart and blood vessels. It features state-of-the-art surgical and imaging technologies. Physicians at The Ross work closely with scientists at the OSU Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute to bring the best medical practices to patients with heart and vascular disease.
- OSU Harding Hospital, the area's most complete inpatient and outpatient service for persons with depression, post-trauma, family conflict, personality disorders, anxiety, sexual abuse and related conditions. A caring place featuring the region's leading psychiatric professionals.
- OSU Primary Care Network, a group of nearly 100 physicians in dozens of offices throughout greater Columbus offers individuals and families a broad range of preventitive and routine healthcare. They server more than 375,000 patient visits each year.
