Transportation and Parking Guide for September 5-7, 2008
Saturday, September 6
Football shuttles are suggested for those guests who are not able to make the walk to Ohio Stadium. The shuttles will drop passengers off as close to the stadium as OSU Traffic & Parking is able to get the shuttles. Please keep in mind, the shuttles will not be able to drop passengers off right in front of an Ohio Stadium gate.
The drop-off and pick-up location for the Ohio University game will be the same as in 2007, which is in the Neil Avenue Garage Loop. The Loop is south-east of the RPAC, just west of (behind) the Psychology Building and Lazenby Hall, and south of Cunz Hall.
Pre-game
HYATT to Meiling Hall: 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m.
MEILING to the stadium: 11:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m.
Post-game
Bus riders should expect delays after the game due to game day traffic.
Three shuttle busses will run continuous circuits between the Ohio Stadium drop-off location, Meiling Hall and the Hyatt on Capitol Square, until approximately one and a half (1.5) hours after the game has ended.
The Ross Heart Hospital and 12th Avenue garages will be available for visitor parking for all Friday and Saturday events on campus. The Ross garage is just west of Meiling Hall, across the new green space.
Please visit this link for directions to the Ross Heart Hospital and 12th Avenue garages.
The 9th Avenue garage, directly across the street from and south of Meiling Hall, will be available for public parking only on Saturday. This garage is reserved for OSU Faculty and Staff only on Friday.
