
Admission Requirements
Graduate School Requirements
1. An earned baccalaureate or professional degree from an accredited
college or university by the expected date of entry.
2. A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative point-hour ratio (on the 4.0 scale)
in all previous undergraduate work.
3. A minimum of a 3.3 cumulative point-hour ratio (on the 4.0 scale
used at this university) in all previous relevant graduate work.
4. Prerequisite training that will enable the student to pursue the
chosen graduate program, (For Anatomy, such training is usually in science,
engineering or computer sciences.)
Anatomy
Program Requirements:
1. Three letters of recommendation from persons acquainted with the
applicant's academic program, scholastic ability, or professional
goals and objectives (standard forms are included in the Graduate School application
packet).
2. A brief, one -to- two page, autobiographical statement describing
the applicant's educational and professional goals.
3. The scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Aptitude Test
and an Advanced Test in a scientific discipline (scores from an equivalent
national examination may be substituted at the discretion of the Graduate
Studies Committee).
4. Foreign language applicants are required to score at least 600 (250
computer-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language
(TOEFL). This requirement applies to an applicant from a country where the
first language is not English.
