With the advent of programs and policies to end affirmative action, it has become imperative that we as future leaders focus on diversity. MAC will continue to promote awareness of these issues that will affect not only the field of medicine but the general public as well. Goals for this year include increasing minority membership, keeping members aware of issues that affect minorities, and developing projects on the local and national level.
