The School of Biomedical Science offers graduate programming and an undergraduate major designed to meet the challenges emerging out of recent developments in the field of biomedical research.

The Integrated Biomedical Science Graduate Program is a college-wide graduate program designed to provide students with an intensive, broad-based training related to the mechanisms of human disease with in-depth research experiences. This unique graduate program has replaced all of the departmentally based graduate programs within the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University. The school also offers an MD/PhD Program, also known as the “Medical Scientist Program,” combining clinical training with training in research, as well as a Master of Science and a PhD in Anatomy and a Master of Science in Pharmacology.

The Undergraduate Major in Biomedical Science introduces first-year students entering the univeristy's honors program to the joys and rigors of investigative studies in biomedical science, while developing communication and critical thinking skills, in preparation for advanced study in the health and health related fields.
