Dr. Metin Gurcan will be chairing the Histopathology Image Analysis (HIMA):Image Computing in Digital Pathology workshop in Nice, France on October 5, 2012. HIMA is a series of meetings and workshops organized toadvance the field of histopathological image analysis. This is the third time that this meeting is organized as part of the MICCAI conference. MICCAI is one of the largest conferences attended by the world’s leading scientists, engineers and clinicians. The HIMA workshop this year is going to feature three keynote speakers in addition to oral and poster sessions. Four student presenters received travel awards to attend this workshop.
