About the Program

| The Biomedical Science major is for students who have an interest in participating in medical research as an undergraduate student and plan to pursue graduate education. As a student in this major, you could spend 1-4 years working with one of the OSU medical research teams.
Students in the Biomedical Science major
are encourage to explore a variety of career opportunities in the sciences. You can take classes such as anatomy, physiology, and neuroscience while working in a research lab and volunteering at one of the OSU hospitals. |

| These experiences, along with regular advising from our faculty and staff, will help you determine the type of career you wish to pursue. If you have a strong interest in a career in science, the determination and drive to take on a challenging undergraduate experience, and a high school record that will make you eligible for the OSU honors program, please visit the Biomedical Science major to learn if this is the right place for you. |
