To be considered for need-based aid, students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which serves as the basis for determining need. Pay close attention to published deadlines to be considered for need-based aid and review the Student Financial Aid.

University Merit Scholarships

Merit scholarships are awarded by the university to students based on academic performance and other factors indicated on the application for admission. In most cases, university merit scholarships do not require students to complete an additional application; however, review the website to learn more about the availability of scholarships. Students who wish to be considered for scholarships should pay close attention to published deadlines.

Biomedical Science Scholarship

Typically, all Biomedical Science students receive a Biomedical Science scholarship, which is in addition to any scholarships offered by the university. The current value of the Biomedical Science scholarship is $1,000 per academic year ($500 for autumn semester and $500 for spring semester). Scholarships are renewable for three additional years, provided students meet renewal criteria. Renewal criteria is announced when scholarships are awarded.

Local and Regional Scholarships

Students should also consider applying for local and regional scholarships available through their high school or local organizations. Consider the availability of scholarships at a parent’s place of employment, local professional organizations and associations, foundations, and non-profit organizations.
