| | Our Members: The CBSCR is composed of over 25 members from basic and clinical science departments and centers, including: Graduate and Clinical Education: CBSCR Members are dedicated to the education of scientists and clinicians through their active participation in graduate and clinical training programs including: NIH Sponsored Spinal Cord Injury Training Program CBSCR Faculty Coordinate an annual Training Program in Spinal Cord Injury Research Techniques. This program was established in 2003 as a contract from the National Institutes of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). Each summer, 16 selected participants from research laboratories throughout the world converge in our core facilities at the OSU Medical Center where they receive hands-on and classroom training in the best practices in SCI research techniques and analysis. The program is highlighted by personal sessions with individuals with SCI and a public symposium featuring prominant guest experts in the field of SCI research.
