The Tecnai G2 Spirit is our new state-of-the-art digital TEM with cryo-capability.
The Spirit has bioTWIN optics designed specifiaclly for optimum examination of biological specimens. The instrument has a 20-120 KV range and is capable of high quality imaging throughout the entire magnification range. This microscope is ideal for all biological TEM specimens, ranging from ultra-thin sections to negatively stained samples to cryo-sections or cryo-films. The cryo capability allowing sample observation at liquid nitrogen temperature is also ideal for examining thin films and sections of material, (non-biological), specimens.
