Elliot Crouser, MD, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine, has
been selected by the Society of Critical Care Medicine as a recipient of
the 2010 Immunology Specialty Award. The award, which recognizes
excellence in critical care research, was presented in January at the
annual Critical Care Congress.
Jay Iams, MD, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, was honored at
the November March of Dimes Health Leadership Awards program. Iams was
presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his exemplary
leadership in maternal and infant health.
Clay Marsh, MD, executive director of The Ohio State University
Medical Center's Center for Personalized Health Care, has been named to
the Personalized Medicine Coalition's (PMC) board of directors. The PMC
is an educational and advocacy group comprised of more than 170
pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics, and information technology
companies, as well as major academic institutions and governmental
agencies. The board will be responsible for advancing the understanding
and adoption of personalized medicine.
