Faculty Teaching Scholars Program
In September 2008, the first Faculty Teaching Scholars Program (FTSP) was launched. The program provides formal training in educational theory, teaching skills, peer review, educational scholarship, and leadership. Topics include common research methods for educational scholars, IRB issues for medical education research, survey strategies, statistics, and effective workshops, poster and podium presentations The program is limited to twelve particpants who will complete the curriculum and develop an educational scholarship project.
