Getting started in medical education research?

The Center for Education and Scholarship provides support to faculty and staff who are interested in conducting research in medical education. We utilize an 8-step consultation process to assist faculty at all stages in the research process.
To request a consultation with a CES staff member complete the Request Form.
Note: The Consultation Request Form requires an OSU Medical Center account (ex. smit99) in order to access our site.
- Off Campus? To access the Educational-Research Consultation Request from off campus or via wireless network:
- You will be asked to input your MedCenter Logon ID and password. Add “osumc\” before your ID (for example: osumc\smit99)
- Use the same password you use to log into Outlook Web Access.
- Forget your password? If you do not remember your password or Medical Center Logon ID, contact the Medical Center IT Help Desk at (614) 293-3861.
- No Medical Center Account? If you don't have an OSUMC Logon ID email ces@osumc.edu.
Need guidance in writing your manuscript?
Sorting through your findings, summarizing your results and condensing your manuscript are all large endeavors. There are several options for writing and editorial support. The International Committee of Medical Journal Editors's Web site is an excellent resource for writing and editorial information.
