  • Knutson DM, Post DM.  Teaching to the CORE: Using Core Competencies without Losing Core Values.  Department of Health and Human Services, three-year grant - $642,190; July 2005.
  • Longenecker RL. Rural Health Scholars Program.  Dr. J Martin Byers, Jr. Memorial Fund and Mary J. and Robert S. Young Fund, Family Medicine Endowment Funds, three-year grant - $6,000 annually for 3 years, 2002-2005; renewed  at $7-8,000 annually, 2005-2008.
  • Post DM.  Community-Based Patient Safety Education for the Elderly.  National Patient Safety Foundation, one-year grant -  $99,878;  April 2005.
  • Post DM.  Efficacy of Web-Based Training in Skin Cancer Triage.   National Institutes of Health: R01, five-year grant -  $1,977,697; July 2004.
  • Young Fund, Family Medicine Endowment Funds, three-year grant - $6,000 annually for 3 years, 2002-2005; renewed  at $7-8,000 annually, 2005-2008.
  • Post DM.  Community-Based Patient Safety Education for the Elderly.  National Patient Safety Foundation, one-year grant -  $99,878;  April 2005.

  • Miser WF: Are Continuity of Care and the Use of a Diabetic Flow Sheet Associated With Improved Quality of Care in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Who Receive Their Care in a Family Practice Office Setting? $2,500. Ohio Academy of Family Physicians Foundation Summer Research Externship Program, two-month grant, April 2005.
