Mission Statement:
Given that The Ohio State University seeks to be a national leader in health sciences education, the College of Medicine Center for Education and Scholarship (CES) will promote scholarship in teaching and learning to enhance the quality of health sciences education.
Goals:

Promote scholarship of teaching and learning: Provide consultation on all aspects of educational scholarship (e.g., study preparation, funding, networking, IRB approval process, literature reviews, study design, methodology, statistical analyses, effective presentation, article and proposal preparation, grant and article submission processes, and venues for presentations and publications) to faculty, staff, and trainees in the College of Medicine.

Promote and develop skills that enhance the quality of health sciences education: Assist in the development of outstanding teachers, curriculum leaders, and educational scholars.

Provide guidance for educational recognition and rewards: Assist in the identification and/or development of guidelines to recognize excellence in educational scholarship and scholarly activity and advocate for its use.
