The Student Clinician’s Ceremony celebrates the medical student’s transition from the preclinical to the clinical experience. This is one of three signature programs offered to medical schools through the Arnold P. Gold Foundation. It joins the White Coat Ceremony and the Gold Humanism Honor Society induction in marking important transitions and encouraging student commitment to humanistic practice as future physicians. Six outstanding residents were also recognized with the Gold Foundation’s Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award. Nominated by third and fourth-year medical students, the recipients were selected for exhibiting particularly strong teaching skills and for serving as role models for compassionate, relationship-centered care.
