For returning students, the Office of Student Financial Services keeps a list of several scholarships that are offered by agencies that are external to the College and the University. These scholarships are offered by local communities, foundations, organizations, individuals, companies, and others. By completing the College of Medicine Scholarship application each year, you will be notified to apply to those external scholarships in which you meet the requested criteria. This scholarship application becomes available each January 1 and is due March 1.

There are also a variety of external scholarships that are offered by the Federal Government that apply specifically to medical students. Students are not required to complete the College of Medicine Scholarship application for these programs:

Military Health Professions Scholarship Program: Airforce, Army, and Navy
National Health Service Corps
Indian Health Scholarship Program
