Cochambamba, Bolivia
As a second-year OSU medical student, Sarah Gress participated in a medical mission trip in Cochambamba, Bolivia, with the staff of Hospitals of Hope International. HOHI is a team of doctors, nurses, physician assistants, medical technicians, pharmacists, teachers, students, dentists, optometrists, and lay persons who serve the people of Bolivia. This team works to bridge gaps that pre-existing medical care facilities may have, and helps establish new hospitals and clinics to serve the indigent population. All supplies and services are provided at no cost to the people of Bolivia.
