Ohio State has expanded its medical education "classroom" to accommodate seven continents and a world perspective on health. Developing that worldview of health through an innovative curriculum is encouraged at Ohio State. You can read about emerging diseases and international health issues, but there's no substitute for being "on the ground" and seeing them first hand. After all, medicine is a universal language.
