At the heart of the OSU Graduate Medical Education program is a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to promoting the highest standards of patient care, research, and teaching.

We strive to help our residents develop the clinical skills, scientific knowledge and caring attitude necessary to become outstanding clinicians or investigators. Our extensive primary and tertiary care facilities offer a full range of patient care activities, and our faculty provides excellent mentoring. Trainees encounter a diverse population in three inpatient and eight outpatient sites in Central Ohio that make up our learning environment.

This environment with its mix of inpatient rotations, outpatient opportunities and educational conferences provides our residents with the comprehensive training they will need to excel in fellowship programs, academic positions and private practice across the nation. In addition, the diverse group of residents and fellows and the variety in their life experiences enrich the educational environment for all.

To determine your eligibility for appointment into our residency and fellowship programs, see the Eligibility Policy. A checklist of appointment requirements is also available.
