Thank you for your interest in the OSUMC Housestaff Medical Alliance. We are a fairly new organization at OSU, but with your help we look forward to expanding and offering more programs and services, which support the OSUMC Housestaff and their spouses and partners. This past year we have planned events like free lectures on medical marriages and financial planning, and various social events including happy hours and a welcome back picnic. The OSUMC Housestaff Medical Alliance second annual Welcome Back picnic was a great success. Residents, fellows and their spouses, significant others and children enjoyed a picnic lunch and a panel discussion on “Surviving The Training Years” with current residents and their spouses, and representatives from the American Medical Association Alliance. In November, psychologist Jason McCray spoke to residents and their spouses about Surviving the Stressors of Residency and everyone enjoyed it so much that we have made his presentation available on this web site.
