The Columbus metropolitan area is home to over 1.7 million people and lots of fun things to do. Whether you're looking for museums, professional spots, parks, children's activities, movies, theatre, or just about anything else, look no further. You can probably find it right here in town.
The Blue Jackets (major league hockey) and the Crew (major league soccer) call Columbus home. If you're looking for something more affordable and just as fun, the Clippers play minor league baseball in Columbus throughout the summer.
If museums are your thing, you will want to check out the Wexner Center and the Columbus Museum of Art.
The Columbus Metro Parks throughout the Columbus area are a great place to experience nature. Columbus is also home to an excellent zoo. And just a short drive away from Columbus, the Hocking Hills area offers hiking, fishing, camping, horseback riding, canoeing, rapelling, and bird watching, among other attractions.
If you're looking for a furry companion, we recommend you check out a local pet rescue organization A.D.O.P.T. Pet Rescue.
