Amy Darragh, PhD, OTR/L, an Assistant Professor in the Division of Occupational Therapy, has been selected to represent the American Occupational Therapy Association on the American Nurses Association Safe Patient Handling National Standards Working Group. The group includes key stakeholders and is tasked with developing national standards for safe patient handling and movement programs. Dr. Darragh is a leader in field and has published widely on the topic.
