Dr. Nina Kowalczyk has been invited, through a peer reviewed
process, to present her research
findings regarding The Relationship between
Radiologic Science Student Epistemological Beliefs, Reflective Practice and
Their Clinical Performance the 2013 American Society of Radiologic
Technologists Education Symposium to be held in Albuquerque, NM on June
13. This research was a collaborative
effort between three universities. Dr. Kowalczyk conducted the study in
collaboration with Duane Akroyd, PhD, Professor and Director of Graduate
Programs, Department of Leadership, Policy, Adult and Higher Education, College
of Education at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC and Jeffrey Legg, PhD, Associate Professor
& Chair the Department of Radiation Sciences at Virginia Commonwealth
University in Richmond, VA.
Additionally, Dr. Kowalczyk is also invited to present an educational
session regarding Translational Research at the 2013 ASRT Education Symposium.
She also serves as the Chairman of the ASRT Education Steering Committee and
will be seated as one of the four nationally elected Education Delegates in the
2013 ASRT House of Delegates.
