The senior sonography quiz bowl team of Ashley Holtzapple, RDMS, Kaitlin Hoffman, RDMS, Rebecca Jackson, and Anna Colander (Pictured below left to right) beat Kettering Medical Arts Sonography program in the final round of the Ohio Medical Ultrasound meeting's physics quiz bowl. It was a close score but the lady Buckeyes prevailed and polished off the competition on the last question. This was our first time to compete in the OMUS physics quiz bowl and Rachel Pargeon coached the team to a 1st place win.
Additionally, Ashley Holtzapple (Pictured below with Dr. Kevin Evans) won 1st place in the scientific lecture competition. Which follows our growing list of annual 1st place winners: Volz, Fahy, and now our own Ashley Holtzapple. It was a big day for our OSU sonographers. Cheers!
