The Injury Biomechancs Research Lab is pleased to announce the dates for the 2008 Injury Biomechanics Symposium. The symposium will be held May 19-20, 2008. The reception event will be held May 18, 2008.

This symposium is intended to stimulate and reward strong injury biomechanics research among students and recent graduates.

Attendees can expect original biomechanics research in a forum intended to foster communication between developing and established researchers.

Panel Discussion - Aerospace Biomechanics
Nancy J. Currie, Ph.D., NASA Nancy's NASA Bio Background: -Dr. Currie served in the U.S. Army for 23 years, achieving the rank of Colonel prior to her retirement in 2005. As a Master Army aviator she logged over 4000 flying hours. As a veteran of four space shuttle missions, she has accrued over 1000 hours in space. Presently she serves as the Senior Technical Advisor to the Automation, Robotics, and Simulation Division in the JSC Engineering Directorate.
