Dr. David Wininger has been on the OSU faculty since 1995, assuming the Program Director role in 2007 after 4 years as an Associate Program Director. As a new intern he was asked what he wanted to "become" by his Infectious Diseases attending/IM Program Director, and he responded "You!". Linking residents with inspiring mentors is one of the joys of his job. He and his wife have 4 children, ages 6-12.
