The fellows’ clinical learning will be supplemented by independent reading of textbooks and journal articles and the lecture conference series in which fellows can openly discuss and defend decision making processes in their approach to patient care. Divisional conferences include weekly research review. Monthly conferences involve journal club and case presentations. A bimonthly conference is held with the Department of Radiology to review musculoskeletal X-rays. Monthly faculty lectures for rotating residents and students introduce program participants to the differential diagnosis of rheumatic diseases including diagnostic testing and procedures and clinical management.
