OSU Studies Connection Between Asthma, Acid Reflux

Dr. John Mastronarde of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine was interviewed about a national study led by OSUMC exploring whether treating silent acid reflux can improve asthma. Mastronarde also was interviewed about the possible shortage of albuterol "rescue" inhalers caused by new regulations forcing manufacturers to stop using chlorofluorocarbon propellants to power the devices.
