Research Interests

My laboratory is interested in the molecular action of nuclear hormone receptors, particularly the glucocorticoid receptor. We are particularly interested in the mechanisms by which the function of the glucocorticoid receptor is modulated by disease states, e.g. pulmonary fibrosis, infectious agents and other signaling pathways. We employ techniques such as cell culture, transient transfections, real time PCR and ligand binding assays.
