Marsh Named Chair of Foundation's Board of Directors 7/11/2007
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Dr. Clay B. Marsh, director of the Center for Critical Care at the Ohio State University Medical Center, has been named chair of the board of directors of the Stanley Sarnoff Cardiovascular Research Foundation, effective July 1.
As the first pulmonary and critical care physician to serve as chair of the board of directors, Marsh will lead a group of internationally known cardiovascular medicine researchers and physicians to oversee the foundation. Marsh is also division director of pulmonary, allergy, critical care and sleep medicine and associate director for lung research at Ohio State’s Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute
The foundation, established in 1981, attracts medical students and young investigators from medical schools across the country to a personalized research experience with world-renowned cardiovascular scientists, supporting the career development of the next generation of leaders in the field.
