Research Interest:
Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia - oncogenic tyrosine kinases, signal transduction pathways and RNA binding proteins

Research summary:
Dr. Perrotti's research is aimed at assessing the molecular mechanisms leading to leukemic transformation of hematopoietic cells. Specific areas of interest are: a) Role of RNA binding proteins in blastic transformation of Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia; b) Signal transduction in Leukemia; c) Mechanisms regulating expression and activity of oncogenic kinases.
