The OSU College of Medicine honors convocation is an annual event recognizing excellence in the medical student and faculty community at The Ohio State University. The day begins with a morning hooding rehearsal for the graduating class, followed by a senior barbecue luncheon held under the tent in front of Meiling Hall for graduating students, families and friends. A mid-day honors convocation recognizes outstanding students from the graduating class for their leadership, academic excellence, commitment to professionalism and service to patients, as well as faculty chosen by the class for their teaching excellence and guidance. The day ends with a hooding ceremony at Mershon Auditorium, followed by an outdoor reception.
The College is pleased to recognize the outstanding achievements of these exceptional students and faculty.
