OSU College of Medicine Extends Interview Season

Due to the record number of very competitive applications to The Ohio State University College of Medicine this year (2010-2011 cycle), the school has extended the interview season from March 30, 2011, to April 27, 2011.

"We are very pleased by the increase in numbers of students applying to our college and want to make sure that as many qualified candidates as possible are given the opportunity for a full file review and possibly an interview," explained Quinn Capers IV, MD, FACC, FSCAI, Assistant Professor of Medicine and Associate Dean for Admissions at OSU’s College of Medicine. "The interview offers are for a spot in the entering class of 2011; we do not interview for spots on the waiting list," he added.

The Ohio State University College of Medicine currently ranks 27th among America’s 126 medical schools and 20 schools of osteopathic medicine, according to the 2011 U.S. News & World Report "America’s Best Graduate Schools."
