It’s not too late for faculty, staff and students to get tickets at a discounted price to a performance of “Let Me Down Easy” on Saturday, February 26.
This one-woman show performed by Anna Deveare Smith is about the power of the body, the cost of health care and the resilience of the human spirit, revealed through the stories of 20 real-life characters – from everyday citizens to celebrities. The stories offer perspectives on dealing with injury, illness and mortality. The event will play in Columbus’ historic Lincoln Theatre, February 22-27.
Faculty, staff and students in any of Ohio State's Health Sciences colleges may purchase tickets at the following discounted prices for the 8 p.m. performance on Saturday, February 26.

On February 28, Smith will engage in a Director’s Dialogue with Steven G. Gabbe, CEO of The Ohio State University Medical Center, along with prominent legal scholar Patricia Williams about the process of creating the show. They will also discuss medical care in the United States. The event begins at 7 p.m. in OSU’s Mershon Auditorium.
