The Medical Center celebrates Black History month with the theme Reaching for the Top…We Are One.
This year’s Black History Month celebrations will be held at both University Hospital East and main campus on Thursday, February 24, for two inspiring programs featuring engaging speakers.
OSU Athletic Director Gene Smith and Ohio Supreme Court Justice Yvette McGee Brown will deliver important messages on their accomplishments as African-Americans and how their commitment to the community has impacted their lives.
Musical performances, along with essay readings from Columbus City School students, are planned. Light refreshments will be served at the end of the program.
