The
Ohio State University College of Medicine has named Mark Angelos, MD, professor
of Emergency Medicine, as the new interim chair of the Department of Emergency
Medicine. Dr. Angelos replaces Douglas
Rund, MD, who had served as Department chair for the past 20 years. Dr. Angelos
has been a member of the Department of Emergency Medicine faculty since 1991
and currently serves as the vice chair of Research and vice chair of Academic Services.
Dr. Angelo will begin his term as interim chair on July 1, 2011.
