Plan to celebrate with the Medical Education Scholarship and Faculty Teaching Scholars Certificate Recipients of Ohio State’s College of Medicine on Wednesday, November 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Biomedical Research Tower. This year’s celebration - hosted by the Center for Education and Scholarship - will include faculty teaching skills workshops in the morning; a keynote address by Georges Bordage, MD, MSc, PhD; educational research posters; and recognition of our Faculty Teaching Scholars Program Certificate Recipients.
The keynote luncheon topic is “Developing Clinical Reasoning Skills.” Our presenter, Georges Bordage, MD, MSc, PhD, teaches courses in Scholarship and Current Issues in Health Professions Education, Research Design and Grant Writing and Scientific Writing. He also teaches scholarship and research design in the master’s program in Medical Education at the University of Bern in Switzerland.
