Stephen Page, associate professor of occupational therapy in the School of Allied Medical Professions, was awarded the 2011 American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) Distinguished Member Award. Established in 1988, the award honors individuals who have contributed to the advancement and performance of ACRM, demonstrated leadership skills, organizational abilities, and public service.
Page received this award on Friday, October 14, 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia at the Henry B. Betts Awards Gala. Page’s most recent work, funded through a grant from the National Institutes of Health, studies the retention of motor changes in stroke survivors who were administered mental practice.
