This year’s Center for Education and Scholarship's "Celebration of Educational Scholarship" and Faculty Teaching Scholars Program (FTSP) Certificate Awards ceremony was the best yet. The November 16th event served approximately 100 faculty and staff. The Agenda for the day included morning workshops devoted to faculty skills-building in support of the new Lead.Serve.Inspire (LSI) curriculum to be implemented next year. The keynote luncheon was addressed by Georges Bordage, MD, MSc, PhD, and was followed by the awarding of FTS Program completion Certificates to the College of Medicine’s newest Scholars. The afternoon showcased 26 Educational Research posters and eight podium presentations by FTSP graduates and additional College of Medicine faculty engaged in Educational Research, and the overall feedback has been very positive. The dozen Faculty Teaching Scholars receiving certificates for completion of the 15-month long FTS program on teaching and educational scholarship now join the other 24 Faculty Teaching Scholars Program Certificate holders. Congratulations to all!
