Carlo Croce, MD, chair of Ohio State's Department of Molecular Virology, Immunology, and Medical Genetics, director of the Institute of Genetics, John W. Wolfe Chair in Human Cancer Genetics, and director of Ohio State's Human Cancer Genetics Program, has been recognized as a Distinguished University Professor for 2012.
Croce's research in the field of cancer genetics has transformed the manner in which cancers are diagnosed and treated, leading to better outcomes for patients.
