Richard H. Keates, M.D. Specialty: Corneal Disease and Surgery; Laser Refractive Surgery and External Diseases Dr. Keates is an Emeritis Professor specializing in diseases and surgery of the cornea and laser refractive surgery such as LASIK. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Jefferson Medical College and the Manhattan Eye,Ear & Throat Hospital. He completed a Heed Corneal Fellowship and previously was Professor and Chairman at the University of California-Irvine. His research interests include corneal structure and laser treatment.
