Consultative Services

  • Consulting or coaching services on a project or hourly basis are provided to help you accomplish plain language goals effectively and cost efficiently. Your needs will be clearly identified and then addressed in the most efficient way. On-site, phone, fax, and e-mail are used to provide services
  • Conduct a health literacy audit to analyze communications (printed materials, signs, voice mails, forms, etc.) and identify needed changes
  • Create an action plan to enable the organization to adopt plain language initiatives
  • Develop a health literacy awareness program / staff in-service for health professionals
  • Reinforce skills learned in health literacy/plain language training through guided practice either on-site or on-line
  • Design policies and procedures that support a culture of plain language within the organization
