Daniel D. Sedmak, MD
Director
Daniel D. Sedmak, MD, senior associate vice president for health sciences at Ohio State University Medical Center, is the Director of the Office of Global Health Education and Principal Investigator of OSU's Fogarty Framework Grant and Director of the Health Sciences Center for Global Health (HSCGH). Dr. Sedmak, a professor of Pathology, has led the planning and execution of global health initiatives at the OSU Medical Center.

Pamela Potter
Associate Director
Pamela Potter serves as the assistant director of the Office of the Global Health Education in the College of Medicine. Ms. Potter provides oversight of the daily administration and operation of the OGHE. She is also the administrative director for the Health Sciences Center for Global Health. Prior to her role at OSU, she served as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Dean for the Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Jessica Small
Program Coordinator
Jessica Small is the program coordinator for the Office of Global Health Education and the Health Sciences Center for Global Health. Ms. Small administers Med 4 Global Health Electives and the day-to-day activities of the OGHE, including counseling students interested in international health opportunities. Ms. Small also manages the OGHE website.

Yun Xia, MD, PhD
Regional Director, Global Health Education Initiatives, China
Yun Xia, MD, PhD, is an associate professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Physiology & Cell Biology. Dr. Xia received his medical degree at Peking Union Medical College in China and his PhD in Physiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Xia serves as a liaison between medical students and our affiliations in China.
