Physician Faculty Development
Teaching Medical Students in the Ambulatory Setting

Community-based faculty physicians make an important commitment to medical students. Without them, The Ohio State University would not be able to offer the diverse and authentic educational experiences it does.

In 2006, The Ohio State Community-Based Faculty Development Program began. Funded by a grant from Health Resources and Services Administration, US Department of Health and Human Services, a team of authors and additional contributors created a full program addressing the most requested needs of community physicians.

The complete program includes personalized planning and periodic feedback, just-in-time Web resources, and added connections and clerkship resources.
