"To me being a doctor means being a teacher so my role as a teacher of students, residents, and faculty is a natural extension of my patient care efforts." Preceptor in Massachusetts
If there is a so called "teaching gene," we find that it is possessed by a number of private practice physicians as well as those affiliated with community hospital residencies. The OSU class size as well as the complexity of the MD curriculum make available to interested community physicians a variety of options to get involved in medical education. The links that follow will direct you to an overview of some of the programs in which our community clinical teachers participate. Included with each program description is contact information. Please let us know if you have any questions or need further information about a program.
Our programs could not exist without the support of our community partners!
