Post-doctoral Fellow

A post-doctoral fellow is sought to join a multi-faceted, NIH-funded research laboratory to study G protein coupled receptor regulation in genetically modified mouse models.  Candidates should have a background in pharmacology and/or neuroscience.  Specific training in physiological measures, viral gene delivery, signal transduction and/or mouse behavior is preferred.  Particular research directions include neuropsychopharmacology and neurogastroenterology, and focus upon opioid, dopamine and serotonin signaling systems.  The laboratory is located in new research space in the Department of Pharmacology, on the main campus of The Ohio State University College of Medicine.  The lab is part of the Neuroscience signature program and translational research opportunities may be available.  Applicants with a PhD should email their CV, contact information including email addresses of 3 references, and a cover letter expressing your specific interests and career goals to: Laura M.
