Department of Physiology and Cell Biology

A major goal of the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology is to provide the future generation of biomedical scientists with unique expertise to approach biomedical research in the 21st century. Faculty in the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology have expertise in the area of gene discovery / molecular genetics, proteomics / protein expression, cell biology, advanced imaging techniques, expertise in single cell and organ physiology, and genetically engineered transgenic animal models for disease. Students will have the opportunity to interact with Faculty, Research Scientists and Postdoctoral Researchers in the Department.
