PROFESSIONALISM COUNCIL

The Professionalism Council has been in existence since July 2004.  The work of the Council is under the direction of the Executive Committee and is composed of 5 standing committees: Education, Evaluation and Assessment,  Business Ethics, Research Ethics, Clinical Practice and Communications.

The work of the Council focuses on professionalism, through understanding and evaluating the environment in which we function, promoting educational and informational venues concerning the tenets of professionalism and by valuing and promoting professional and compassionate behaviors.

See Mission and Vision statements. Our action plan requires moving the Professionalism Council to a new level of activity that focuses on three broad areas:  advocacy/accountability, collaboration/communication, and building trust.
