Requirements for International Residency Applicants:

  1. Cannot be out of medical school more than five years.
  2. Six months of clinical experience at a hospital or clinic in the United States, with a portion of this being Psychiatry.
  3. Three letters of reference from U.S. physicians.
  4. Applicant must be ECFMG certified.
  5. Successful completion of Clinical Skills Assessment Exam is required.
  6. USMLE Steps I and II must be completed, and Step III is preferred.
  7. Excellent communication skills in English.
  8. All applications are taken over ERAS.
  9. We sponsor J-1 Visa, but not an H-1 Visa.
